
I’ve been talking a lot recently about the importance of having an evergreen sales system to bring in leads and sales on repeat for your business.
If you’re a coach, a consultant, an online entrepreneur, an expert or online business owner, who is really looking to scale your business, this could really help you even if you’re just looking to maintain things through the current climate.
Here are my six reasons why it’s is super important for you to create a dependable evergreen sales system in your business.
Designing a system that suits your personality and design means you’re more likely to do it
First of all, so many of you (and me included), tell me that there are certain marketing activities that just make your skin crawl.
Yet some of you have been made to believe that those are essential for your growth, and you’re not going to get where you want to be without doing them (usually by people that only sell these things).
Creating an evergreen sales system is about designing a system that suits your personality, your human design and your desires.
Do the things that you actually like doing because we all know that if we commit to doing marketing and we don’t like it, we just won’t do it. We will find all the reasons under the sun not to do the thing that we know we need to do.
So why don’t we just choose the path of least resistance and choose things in a marketing system that we actually like?
That might bring a bit of joy to our lives?
Because when we do that we’re more likely to do it and that’s what we need.
We also need consistency.
Now I know people think consistency is boring. It’s not. It’s so important and it works. It creates that compound effect. It creates growth.
And this system creates that consistency but if you fill it with things that you love doing, it doesn’t feel boring. It doesn’t feel like it’s a chore. And so designing that system, full of things that you love doing and you just keep repeating means that your marketing and your sales are going to improve and increase.
Most people get a little nervous of selling at some point – this is a system you can automate, even when you want to run and hide
A lot of people literally have an allergic reaction to selling. They can’t bear it.
By creating an evergreen sales system, you can set it up to run virtually on automatic (not all the time but elements of it).
So when you do have those moments, which we all have (us women, we have them at particular times of the month), those times where we want to run and hide, it keeps on running and working for you. And that is a godsend.
I’ve been through a patch of dealing with some health issues over the last few years and being able to step back and not have to put my shiny face on and do all the marketing because I didn’t feel like it was an absolute joy because my system just took over and did it for me.
And that I think in the current climate and particularly during the pandemic has been an absolute godsend and really helps people.
Now this system I’m talking about is one that I first designed five years ago. It’s a framework, and you can bend it to flex to work the way you want it to.
I use it in my business and it’s created millions for me, and I use it with my clients too. In fact it’s what I teach in my signature programs, Elevate Collective and The Conscious Consultant Certification.
This is a proven system and I’ve tried and tested all sorts of things with this. So this is coming from experience of doing all the things.
It creates consistent revenue, profit and salary
This system creates consistent revenue, the Holy Grail, we all want that right?
And Ergo when you create consistent revenue, you create consistent profit and consistent salary for you and your team.
We want that reassurance that we will be creating this revenue every single month. No matter what happens.
Because that takes the stress levels down that soothes the nervous system which is a huge thing for me after, I’ve done a lot of work on the nervous system.
And it really helps to keep you from that real freeze, fight and flight and fearing where your next bit of revenue is going to come from. It creates that for you so that you can start to create those predictable results in your business.
It means you can hand it over to your team to run without you which is essential for scaling
It’s a system that is part automated and you can then hand the rest off to your team to run a lot of elements of it which is essential in scaling.
You know scaling is all about taking you out of the business as much as possible so your team can run without you so that you are able to leverage and serve more people and scale to the next level.
It creates predictability, certainty and inevitability in your business, which is essential for future planning and possibly selling later.
We all want an element of this, it takes the stress levels down. It makes us feel good to be able to predict what revenue is coming into our business for the next however many months.
This is also essential for future planning. Also if you’re building something that you would like to exit and sell one day, (which a lot of us are), you need to be able to prove this. The numbers need to add up.
So we need that predictability, certainty, inevitability for people to see that actually it’s a viable investment.
And the sooner you start on that, the more you have a bank of proof how the company has done. That’s going to appeal to more people.
It means you don’t have to launch if you don’t want to
Let’s face it, launching exhausts a lot of us and I’m not a big fan.
I’m not I’m gonna say I’m not anti launching. It works brilliantly for a lot of people but it doesn’t suit everyone. It certainly doesn’t suit me. I find it really really exhausting.
It means if you have this system in place, you don’t have to launch if you don’t want to.
Now if you you love launching, this system can be the thing that runs in between the launches, bringing in the predictable results, growing and nurturing your audience ready for your launches. So it works for both.
Plus bonus, the way that I created it will completely reframe selling for you and dare I make a big bold claim.
Dare I say it, I may make you fall in love with selling because you get to do it your way.
You know I’m not someone that tells you that you have to use this channel and you have to use this thing and that activity.
I test everything across marketing and selling to see what works for us as a company. So I can help my clients with each of those things.
This system is a framework and you choose what channels and what activities really appeal to you.
So that you design something that doesn’t make your skin crawl and make you run and hide and not do any of the marketing that you need to be doing.
And this empowers you to choose those marketing activities that actually feel good for you.
So if you don’t want to do webinars you don’t have to. If you don’t want to do reels, you don’t have to. If you don’t want to go live, guess what? You don’t have to.
You choose the things that work for you.
And like I said at the beginning of this blog post, if you do that you’re more likely to do it.
If you make it fun and make it joyous you will actually like doing it and you are more likely to show up and do the things. Simple concept, I know.
