So many entrepreneurs struggle to take time away from business we absolutely love running. I get it! Listen in for insights into dealing with guilt and resistance plus the practicalities of making it work.

  • When you want to take a prolonged time away from your business, look at the different areas you can get help with. For me, I asked the coaches already supporting me inside Consistency Club to take over the weekly mentoring and co-working calls for me and it worked a treat. 
  • What support can you call in to help with content creation and scheduling, inbox assistance etc to take the pressure off you?
  • Make sure you communicate clearly with clients when you’re going to be unavailable and what support is in place for them in the meantime.
  • Feel into where the problems are with taking time away and make quick decisions to solve them. Get good at identifying what’s fear and what’s genuine misalignment.
  • It’s ok to not be 100% completely “off” when you’re on holiday – do what feels right for you
  • Taking time out can bring up all the ideas. Let them wash over you by making a note and then moving on. The right ones will stick so there’s no need to get caught up.
  • Time away from your business can really give you perspective on your future vision and where you might have been playing small.
  • Ask yourself how you can schedule time out (even just a day!) away from the business.
