Do this one thing and your results will soar

If you’re focused on a lot of things at once rather than one thing that could really work, your results will be affected big time. But it can be really difficult to figure out what exactly to focus on if you’re new to business, or if you’re getting conflicting advice from various people.

I’ve actually just designed a new smart marketing system that’s built around this idea of cutting back and focusing on one thing in the different areas of your business. It ties in really nicely with my 90-day planning system too.

Here’s an overview:

  • Focus on one offer for that 90 day period.
  • Create one source of lead content and focus on doing it really well. For me, that’s the podcast, but for you it might be blog posts or vlogs.
  • Put together a repurposing system for your lead content – I turn my podcast into a blog post (like this one), and emailer and a bunch of social media posts.
  • Focus on one social media channel for those 90 days.
  • Focus on one funnel and get that working really well.
  • Pick one sales activity.
  • Even if you’re used to taking advice from lots of people, just focus on one source of advice for the next 90 days.

If you can do this, if you can prioritise one activity in each of these areas of your marketing for 90 days, your results will skyrocket.

At the end of the 90 day period, do a review. What worked? Do more of that. If something didn’t work, bring the next thing in to replace it
